A desirable plant friendly rechargeable small hand torch from German LED torch specialists LED Lenser. The LED Lenser P5R.2 features a distinctive two-tone design, energy-efficient LED and magnetic contact charge capability, that makes it as pleasing on the pocket as it is to the eye.
Engineered with the finest industrial components, including an aircraft-grade aluminium housing and gold-plated battery contacts, this is a torch that will last and perform to the highest standard for many years.
The P5R.2 has an energy-efficient high-strength CREE® LED, with a beam distance up to 240 metres and maximum 270 lumen brightness. It features LED Lenser’s brilliant Advanced Focus System, a patented application praised the world over by the most demanding torch enthusiasts for its ring-free bright homogeneous white light over a significantly increased lighting diameter, thereby improving visibility in either flood or spot beam. Thanks to micro-chip operated Smart Light Technology the user can choose from three lighting functions - Power, Low Power and Defence Strobe – for the optimal light in any situation.
Ergonomically, everything has been designed to maximise user comfort: the matt black anodised finish improves grip and feels just right in the hand; a switch at one end allows for push-button operation, while a sliding Speed Focus™ at the other enables the user to zoom from spot beam to flood beam and back with just one hand. The power source is an Eco-friendly rechargeable AA Li-on 3.7v battery, probably a significantly more economical long-term option than having to go out and buy expensive replacements. This is supplied along with a mains/USB Floating Charge System which allows the entire torch to be put in the magnetic charge housing, upon which it will appear to float as battery life is replenished. Also includes 360° belt-clip, wall mount and hard plastic protective carry case.
